Season One[edit | edit source]

"Late"[edit | edit source]

Mr. Gambel is called upon to present the state's case against Emily and a Martha, who have been accused of gender treachery in violation of Romans 1:26. He states that this is what the two have been accused of and swears that his report is entirely true, upon which both Emily and the Martha are summarily convicted and sentenced; the Martha to "the common mercy of the state" (i.e., death) and Emily to "redemption."
