Italy, officially the Italian Republic, (Italian: Repubblica Italiana) is a country located in Southern Europe.

Initially, Italy accepts refugees from the Republic of Gilead. However, this leads to refugee riots, which also occur in Germany and the United Kingdom. Fifteen years after the rise of Gilead, it is almost impossible for a Gilead refugee to escape to Italy after managing to come to Canada.[1].
