Grace Scott is a recurring character in the TV Series. She is the Wife of Commander Steven Scott, to whom Emily is reassigned to (after Commander Glen Deeds).[1]

In the Present[]

Season one[]

"Faithful"[]

Mrs. Scott and Ofsteven (Emily)

Emily is playing outside with the family's dog when Grace comes out. She comments that the dog seems happier now that someone is there to give him more attention. She suggests to Emily that they skip that night's Ceremony because she "might be getting the flu", which seems to be Grace's way of attempting to show some kindness to her Handmaid. However, Emily replies that Grace can't be sick every month, which she acknowledges in a resigned voice.

Season two[]

"Seeds"[]

Serena takes June out for a walk where they run into Grace, Naomi Putnam, and Janine’s already teething (and thus a bit twitchy) baby Angela. When Naomi brings up how charming and intimate Serena's baby show was, Grace asks June if she enjoyed herself during it. June, who is struggling to come to terms with being back in the Waterford household after her escape, quietly replies that she did. Grace and Naomi then continue their walk, leaving Serena and June on their own.

"Postpartum"[]

Grace is present at the Waterfords' house after June goes into (false) labor.

Notes[]

On the episode 1.5 ("Faithful") page of the IMDB, the character is credited as Grace Williams. Since both Serena Joy and June address her as Mrs. Scott in Seeds, the last name "Williams" is most likely a (non-canon) blooper. It may also be her maiden name.
